Dads and Grandads come together for the inaugural South Brisbane Men’s Shed BBQ+A

In recognition of Autism Awareness month, Dads and Grandads joined the Autism Hub and South Brisbane Men’s Shed for an inaugural twilight barbeque question and answer session.

Modelled on the popular ABC television series You can't ask that, Dad’s and Grandad’s were able to ask the awkward or uncomfortable questions about autism they’ve always wanted to know the answers to but have been too afraid to ask. Thanks to FACT (Fathers of Autistic Children Together) Dad’s Scott and Paul and I CAN Network Lead Mentor James, the night was a resounding success. All questions were answered and some great connections were made.

If you are interested in joining the next BBQ+A then please email the Autism Hub or the South Brisbane Men’s Shed.
